Dave Pugh – Covid impacts on Anglicare NT – Comments and Musings
In this episode I speak to Dave Pugh, the CEO at Anglicare NT, who has worked in the community sector for many years across Australia. Working in Darwin and regional parts of the Northern Territory during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 has been quite different to the experiences of other parts of Australia.

One of the significant differences has been the leadership of Aboriginal controlled health services who have acted to protect the health of remote Aboriginal communities, in partnership with the government.
The Northern Territory has no Covid-19 deaths, to October 2020, and very few active cases, which is largely due to the quick actions to close the borders and focus on keeping vulnerable communities safe.
